Arrows in a Quiver
It should be noted here that there are always steps which can be taken to reduce or remove the power of a curse or hex that you send out into the world. If you are sending a curse or hex to a fellow practitioner of magick, then they may have taken steps to create spiritual walls of protection, or they may know exactly how to cleanse themselves of a cursed or hexed energy as soon as they think they are under spiritual attack. That’s okay. If one curse or hex is blocked, there is nothing that says you can’t send it again, or send a brand new curse or hex. If a person makes you so angry, and offends you so much, you are free to send a fresh curse or hex everyday for the rest of your life. Every curse or hex is like an arrow flung in battle, and while your target might shield themselves against some of your arrows, they will no doubt feel the negativity of each assault, and every new arrow that you send downrange has the potential to weaken your enemy just that much more.
The number of arrows, and the amount of negative energy, that you want to send to your target is entirely up to you. If you are not sure how much negative energy to send toward your enemies, continue onto the next chapter, where I discuss a very interesting failsafe that exists within the tradition of Santa Muerte.
