Anti-Envy Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use

To protect against the negative energy projected by envy. To be performed after your next victory that may attract jealousy or envy - such as a promotion, new car, prize win, or other good fortune. In many places and cultures, including among many of the spiritual in Mexico, it is often believed that envy and jealousy are the source of the negative energy behind the Evil Eye, or Mal de Ojo.

You Will Need

Herbs:

• Agrimony - a powerful breaking and reflection herb. Returns negative energy, hexes, and curses to those who send them. Acts as a defense shield.
• Basil - to dispel negativity and curses. Encourages money, wealth, success, and prosperity. To exorcise and repel hostile spirits; for protection and purification. To dispel confusion, fear, and weakness. Protection from evil in general.

Other Items:

• ​Mortar and Pestle - for grinding and incorporating your herbal ingredients into a powder.
• 1 Black Candle - to appeal to the Black Cloaked Santa Muerte of Protection from Personal Attacks.

The Petition

At your Santa Muerte altar, in the glow of the black candle's flame, use your mortar and pestle to grind and blend together approximately equal parts of the two herbal ingredients; the agrimony and the basil.

As you grind and incorporate the herbal ingredients, recite and meditate on the Anti-Envy Santa Muerte magick prayer, which is found below. Praying over the herbs while you incorporate them into a mixture will help you focus the energy of the potion toward your desired intent of enjoying your new found victory without the envy or jealousy of others getting in the way.  Be careful of breathing in the dust of the herbs as you grind, as it may cause irritation.

When the herbs are incorporated and well mixed, slowly encircle the base of the offering candle with the herbal mixture, continuing to recite the below Anti-Envy magick prayer as you do. When the candle is encircled in a ring of your herbal ingredients, leave the candle at your altar to burn to completion.

Once the candle burns to completion, the petition is complete.
