Candle offerings made on behalf of clients at a public Santa Muerte altar in Tijuana, Mexico.

I just realized I wrote the wrong date on the cards - disregard 4/8, it should say 4/9. Candles were prepared by a local botanica and the wax at the top of the candle was etched with a custom message. The candles were then labeled so clients could identify their candles in the pictures.

I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience using Santa Muerte. I really experienced possibilities that I haven't utilized for my magick. It's really sad that people pass judgement based on what they think they know.

Thank you for reading and watching! I'd prefer to say "working with" rather than "using", but I know what you meant. And I agree how unfortunate it is for people to pass judgement and be so afraid of her based on how she looks or stories they've heard about her from people who have never known her, but for every person passing judgement, it seems like there's another breaking free from the propaganda to see Santa Muerte for what she truly is - the personification of something that unites us all, and a reflection of all humans that crosses all cultures and crosses all time. Anyone afraid of a skeleton is afraid of something within themselves. And I truly believe that anyone who can form a relationship with her can live a rewarding and fulfilling life. Thanks for reaching out - don't be a stranger around here!
