Domestic Harmony Petition
Primary Use
To build, maintain, or restore a sense of harmony in a shared living space.
You Will Need
Preparations
At or near your Santa Muerte altar, light the white offering candle so you may work in its light, then recite the below included Domestic Harmony Santa Muerte magick prayer. If you have not already written the name and birthdate of each resident in the home on a small piece of paper, then do this now - you should have one piece of paper for each resident.
Burn Papers to Ashes
Using your cauldron or burn pot, burn each small piece of paper to ashes. As you burn each piece of paper, continue reciting the below included Domestic Harmony magick prayer. When the papers have been burned to ashes and the fire has extinguished, pour the ashes from the cauldron / burn pot into the empty small bowl.

Next, sprinkle into the bowl, over the ashes, a small amount of alfalfa. As you sprinkle the alfalfa, continue to recite the below included Domestic Harmony magick prayer. Over the alfalfa, sprinkle an approximately equal amount of basil, again continuing to recite the below included magick prayer as you do. Using the tips of your fingers, blend and mix the contents of the bowl together, continuing to recite the magick prayer. When you are happy that the contents of the bowl are well mixed and charged with your intent of inviting peace and calm into your shared living space, then leave the bowl to rest in the light of the candle until the candle burns to completion.
When the candle burns to completion, place the bowl in a community area of the home, such as on a fireplace mantle, or on top of a refrigerator. Recite the below magick prayer when you place the bowl. If tensions ever appear to rise within the home, you can go to the bowl and recite over it the magick prayer.

- Alfalfa - an herb associated with anti-hunger and keeping the cupboards full. Used here to promote abundance for all within the shared home, which in turn is intended to reduce domestic tensions.
- Basil - an herb associated with dispelling negativity and curses, as well as repelling hostile spirits. Used here to dispel hostility and drama between people who live together.
- Pieces of Paper - one small piece of paper for each person who lives in the home. On each piece of paper write the name and date of birth of a person who lives in the home.
- Cauldron or Burn Pot - to burn the pieces of paper to ashes.
- Small Bowl - to hold a mixture of the alfalfa and basil herb.
- 1 White Offering Candle - to appeal to the white cloaked aspect of Santa Muerte, generally associated with peace, harmony, and domestic tranquility.
