Health and Wellness Seal
Primary Purpose:
This magick seal is intended to draw good health and wellness into your life. Remember; magick is a tool, not a cure. Always use magick in conjunction with modern therapies and treatments.
You Will Need:
1 Small Piece of Paper - about 4.25 x 5.5 inches works well.
1 Yellow Ink Pen - to create your Health and Wellness Seal.
Seal Symbolism:
This seal depicts two scythes, bound back to back, and pointing in opposite directions; to the left of the scythes is a burning flame on a wick, and to the right is a teardrop. The two scythes pointing in opposite directions represent the power of Santa Muerte to cut down sickness and disease from wherever they may come. The scythes are bound to each other by the shape of a double helix, representing DNA, the building block of the human body, as well as the foundation of human health. The image of a burning flame represents wisdom and warmth - wisdom to make healthy choices and to recognize health problems as early as possible, and warmth to provide comfort through times of illness. The teardrop represents the sadness of mortality - a reminder to appreciate all the health that we have, for it is a sad truth that no matter how well we take care of ourselves, we must all accept the fact that one day our bodies will no longer be able to keep us alive.
Seal Preparation:
At your Santa Muerte altar, using a yellow ink pen, draw the Santa Muerte Health and Wellness Seal, pictured above, on your piece of paper. As you draw, recite the Health and Wellness Seal Magick Prayer, found below.
Using Your Health and Wellness Seal:
To use your Health and Wellness Seal, simply place in or near an area where you want the energy of good health and wellness to radiate. Place in a prominent position in a sick room, or beneath the mattress / pillow of someone who is healing. Carry on your person to encourage health and wellness in your daily life, as you move throughout the world. If you take a prescription or supplement to promote good health, place this seal beneath those prescriptions or supplements, or tape an image of this seal to the bottles, or in the medicine cabinet, where you store them. When you place your seal, and on any day you feel the need to promote health and wellness in your life, focus on the seal and recite the Health and Wellness Seal Magick Prayer, found below.
