Seal Destruction
When a magick seal has served its purpose, you can destroy it by whatever means seems most appropriate to you. You may toss the seal into a compost pile, burn the seal to ashes and toss the ashes to the wind, or simply rip the seal to shreds and discard the pieces as normal trash. If the seal was scratched into the bare Earth, or traced in powder on the floor, then you can sweep the seal away, or allow it to fade away naturally. Destruction of the seal is the best way to convey your intent to stop attracting the energy which the seal was designed to attract.
If the seal was intended to be more permanent, such as if it was painted or scratched into a surface, then the seal can be painted over, or filled in - again, this conveys that the energy of the seal is no longer needed or wanted.
If a magick seal is lost, or unintentionally destroyed, you can consider the seal retired and no longer working to attract the energy it was created to attract. Create a brand new seal if you still want to attract the desired energy.
