Financial Good Luck Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use:

To attract financial good luck into your life. Specifically for good luck with money and financial decisions. 

***Someone reached out to me online and requested I petition the Santa Muerte for financial good luck on his behalf. This is what I came up with.

You Will Need -

Herbs:

• ​Allspice - to attract surprise cash and treasure.
• Alfalfa - an anti-hunger herb, Alfalfa also represents prosperity and money. When combined with the rest of the herbs in this petition, it becomes an herb for financial good luck.
• Cinnamon - for prosperity and good luck.
• Basil - to dispel negativity and curses that may be standing in the way of your financial good luck. Encourages money, wealth, success, and prosperity.

Other Ingredients:

• Double Luck Fast / Doble Suerte Rapida Oil - to take any luck coming your way and double it.
• Horseshoe - a symbol of good luck. Turned ends up, like a "U", to represent catching money and good luck.
• Representation of High Value Cash - to represent cash! It can be the real thing, an image printed off the computer, or a novelty bill.
• Mortar and Pestle - for grinding and incorporating your herbal ingredients.
• 1 Piece of Paper - to write your name and date of birth, or the name and date of birth of the person to whom you want to send some good financial luck. If the date of birth is unknown, use any other identifying information you can think of - like email address, phone number, city or town of residence, occupational title, etc.
• ​1 Silver Ink Pen - for writing on your piece of paper.
• ​1 Silver Candle - to appeal to the energy of the Silver Cloaked Santa Muerte of Good Luck.

Establish a Magickal Connection

On your piece of paper, using your silver ink pen, write the name and personal details (like date of birth) of the person to who you want to send the energy of financial good luck. Place this paper on your altar, then cover it with your representation of high value cash, and then place your silver candle over these two items. This represents covering your target with money and good luck. 

Prepare Your Candle

Next, apply a small amount of "Double Luck Fast" oil to your offering candle. You don't need to cover every inch, a little goes a long way, but use your intuition to determine when you've applied enough. Recite the Financial Good Luck Santa Muerte magick prayer, found below, as you apply the oil to the candle. Light your candle so that you may continue the rest of this working in its light.

Prepare Your Horseshoe

Now take your horseshoe and apply a small amount of "Double Luck Fast" oil to its surface, again reciting the Financial Good Luck prayer, found below. Lay your horseshoe flat around the base of your candle, so the horseshoe appears to encircle the offering candle. If you can't encircle your candle with your horseshoe, then place the horseshoe in front of the candle, opening up, so it may rest in the candle's light.

Prepare Your Herbal Mixture

Combine approximately equal parts of your herbal ingredients - the allspice, alfalfa, cinnamon, and basil - in your mortar and use your pestle to grind and incorporate. Grind and incorporate the ingredients well enough so you end up with a little bit of each herb in every pinch.

As you grind and incorporate, continue to recite the below Financial Good Luck Santa Muerte magick prayer as you focus on your intent of sending your target good luck in matters of money and finance.

When you have ground and incorporated your dry herbal ingredients, slowly sprinkle your mixture around the base of your burning silver candle so it creates a circle around your candle and falls over your horseshoe and high value dollar. Continue to focus on your intent of sending good financial luck to your target as you sprinkle your herbal mixture, reciting the below magick prayer as you do.

Burn Completely

From here, all you have to do is allow your offering candle to burn on your Santa Muerte altar until complete. When the candle has burned to completion, you may dispose of what remains from this petition using the instructions outlined in my post How to Dispose of Magick Trash.

​If you want to keep the horseshoe and your representation of a high value dollar as lucky charms, you can do that as well.

Bring good luck in matters financial,
fill accounts with money substantial.

Money once lost, let it be found,
investments made, let them be sound.

Smile upon this petition so holy,
deliver good luck in all matters of money.
