Friendship Magnet Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use:

​To enchant an amulet, pendent, or other piece of jewelry, to help you attract new friendships, and new opportunities to make friends.

You Will Need:

Herbs:

• ​Boneset - for clearing roadblocks and obstacles, used here to destroy barriers standing in the way of new friendships being formed.
• Calamus Root - used here to encourage others to see you as charming, confident, and charismatic. 
• Cloves - to attract friends and prevent gossip, for self confidence.

​Other Ingredients:

• Magnet - any small to medium magnet will work - something that could fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. To magnetize your selected amulet with magnetic energy.
• Stainless Steel Jewelry - which you want to enchant with the power to attract friends and friendships into your life. Your magnet should stick to stainless steel, which is exactly what you want. You may use a stainless steel Santa Muerte pendant, or any piece of stainless steel jewelry that you like, to create this magick charm.
• ​​1 White Candle - to appeal to the energy of the White Cloaked Santa Muerte of Peace and Harmony, with the intent of attracting peaceful and harmonious friendships.

Preparations:

At or near your Santa Muerte altar, light the white candle so you may work in its light. Take your magnet and attach it to the stainless steel jewelry that you are using to create your friendship magnet charm, and place the connected pair in the light of the white candle's flame. Recite the below included Friendship Magnet Santa Muerte magick prayer. 

Crafting Your Petition:

Next, sprinkle approximately equal amounts of the three herbal ingredients - the boneset, calamus root, and the cloves - around and over the magnetically attached magnet and piece of steel jewelry. Also sprinkle approximately equal amounts of the three herbal ingredients around the base of the white candle. Calamus root is generally sold whole or in chunks - you may consider cutting or shaving the root into smaller pieces so you have enough to spread around. As you sprinkle the three herbs over and around the magnet and jewelry, as well as around the base of the burning white candle, recite the below included Friendship Magnet magick prayer.

Allow the amulet, and the herbs which were sprinkled over it, to rest in the light of the white candle until the candle burns to completion.

Using Your Amulet:

When the white candle has burned to completion, the friendship magnet is now ready for magickal use, and can be worn on your person to attract friends and opportunities to make new friends. Wear this magick charm whenever you feel open to attracting new friendships, or whenever you think you may find yourself in a situation where new friendships might be waiting, such as when interacting with new people or with people who you would like to start friendships with (both in person or in virtual environments).

The more you wear this charm for its intended magickal purpose, the more magickally powerful it will become. However, you should only wear this charm when you are open to the idea of new friendships. If you are are watching TV alone, or at work alone in your office, then the charm should be removed - this is to further symbolize and reinforce the specific intent of this magick charm. When you are not open to the idea of attracting friends, then you should store the charm as you would any other piece of jewelry.  

You can keep the power of this magick charm strong by attaching it to the magnet that you used to create the charm whenever the charm is not being worn. Think of the magnet as a battery for keeping the charm strong. For example, you can attach the magnet to the charm whenever you remove the charm to go to sleep. You can also keep the power of the charm strong by reciting the below magick prayer whenever you decide to wear the charm on your body.

The above petition ritual to craft this magick charm may be repeated whenever you feel as if you are experiencing significant obstacles to new friendships, or if you ever feel as if the power of the charm has become weak. Use your intuition, or your favorite method of divination, to determine if it might be appropriate to re-perform this petition ritual.
