Generous Lover Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use

To encourage a lover to be more generous with their cash and resources, or to encourage a lover to shower you with more gifts.

You Will Need

Herbs:

• Cinnamon - associated with prosperity, abundance, and fullness. Since a lover cannot give what they do not have, cinnamon is used here to ensure the target of this petition, the giver, has plenty of cash and resources to give their lover, the receiver.
• ​Allspice - to attract surprise cash and treasure, used here to attract cash and gifts into the receiving lover's hands.

Other Items:
​

• 2 Pieces of Paper - to write the names of the lovers this petition is for, along with any identifying information to help target the intent. One paper is for the lover who you want to be more generous (the giver), and one paper is for the lover who you want to receive the generosity (the receiver). Identifying information can be anything like birth dates, but even phone numbers and email addresses would work. You may also use two photos, one of each lover, and write the identifying information directly on each photo.
• 1 Red Ink Pen - for writing on the papers or photos.
• ​Mortar and Pestle - for grinding and incorporating your herbal ingredients into a powder.
• Thin Etching Tool - like a pick or pin, to etch into the wax of each candle. ​
• 2 Red Pillar Candles - to appeal to the energy of the red cloaked Santa Muerte of love and romantic relationships. One candle for each lover.

Herb Preparation

​To start, grind and incorporate together approximately equal parts cinnamon and allspice with your mortar and pestle. You want enough of a mixture to sprinkle a circle around the base of each candle. As you grind the herbal ingredients, recite and meditate on the Generous Lover Santa Muerte magick prayer, found below. Praying over the herbs while you grind them into powder will help you focus the energy of the potion toward your intent of encouraging one lover to be more generous to the other.  Be careful of breathing in the dust of the herbs as you grind, as it may cause irritation. When you are happy with the consistency of the herbs, then set your mortar and pestle aside.

Paper Preparation

Next, use your red ink pen to write the name and date of birth of the first person, the lover who you want to be more generous, in the center of the first piece of paper. Around the name and date of birth, draw four outward facing arrows. Recite over this paper the below included Generous Lover Santa Muerte magick prayer. For the rest of these instructions, this paper will be referred to as the "giver's paper".

Then use the red ink pen to write the name and date of birth of the second person, the lover who you want to receive the generosity, in the center of the second piece of paper. Around the name and date of birth, draw four inward facing arrows. Recite over this paper the below included Generous Lover Santa Muerte magick prayer. For the rest of these instructions, this paper will be referred to as the "receiver's paper".

Place these two papers side by side at or near your Santa Muerte altar. You can fold each paper in half to conceal the names and conserve some space if you need to. 

Candle Preparation

Take one of the two red candles and scratch the word "GIVE" into the wax. Place this candle over the giver's paper, which should contain the name and personal information of the lover you want to be more generous. Retrieve your mortar and, pinch by pinch, sprinkle approximately half of the cinnamon and allspice powder mixture around the base of the candle, so it surrounds the candle you placed over the giver's paper. Recite the below included Generous Lover magick prayer as you spread the herbal mixture around the base of the candle.

Take the other red candle and scratch the word "RECEIVE" into the wax. Place this candle over the receiver's paper, which should contain the name and personal information of the lover you want to receive the gifts and generosity in the relationship. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon and allspice powder mixture around the base of the candle, so it surrounds the candle you placed over the receiver's paper. Again, recite the below included Generous Lover magick prayer as you spread the herbal mixture around the base of the candle.

Finalizing the Petition

Finally, light each red candle and once again recite the below included Generous Lover Santa Muerte magick prayer. Allow both candles to burn to completion.

Disposing of Your Supplies​​​

When both red pillar candles have burned all the way to completion, you may consider the petition complete, and you can dispose of what remains from this petition using the instructions outlined in my post How to Dispose of Magick Trash.
