Love Tie Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use:

To attract the love of a specific person. To attract a romantic and lasting love, rather than a sexual fling. To tie a person's heart to your own.

You Will Need:

Herbs:
 

• Caraway Seeds: Associated with fidelity and keeping away thieves. Used here to prevent others from stealing the heart of the person you are trying to attract.
• Catnip: To trigger an attraction. 
• Rose: For attracting a long lasting love.
• Rosemary: Also known  to attract long lasting love, and to encourage your target to think of you often.

Other Ingredients:

• 2 Poppets - to represent each person in the relationship you want to form. They can be simple dolls you make yourself or off-the-shelf Barbie dolls.  If the dolls have a distinguishable sex, then match the sexes to those of your target couple. If you do not make the dolls yourself, incorporated with personal items of the intended targets, then you may mark each doll with the name and date of birth of who they represent.
• 1 Box or Other Container - just large enough to comfortably hold the two poppets. The box or container should have a lid or sturdy cover.
• Length of Red Ribbon or Cord - to literally tie the two poppets together - so they appear to be holding hands. 
• 1 Red Candle - to appeal to the red cloaked aspect of Santa Muerte of love and romantic relationships.

Preparations:

At your Santa Muerte altar, light your red offering candle, so that you may work in its light. Retrieve your box or container and place it in front of you. Sprinkle approximately one small handful of each of the dry herbal ingredients - the caraway seeds, catnip, rose, and rosemary - into the box. This creates a bed of magick on which the pair of poppets can rest. As you sprinkle each herb into the box, recite the below Love Tie magick prayer.

Crafting the Charm:

Next, take the two poppets and position them side by side, with one poppet's hand over the hand of the other poppet - the two poppets should appear to be holding hands. Using the red ribbon or cord, bind the two poppets together at their touching hands. As you tie the two poppets together, you may recite the below included Love Tie magick prayer. 

With the two poppets bound hand in hand, you can place the pair gently into the box or container, so they may rest over the bed of magick herbs which you have prepared. The poppets should now appear to be resting hand in hand as if they were lying peacefully in bed. Now, sprinkle a small amount of each herbal ingredient - the caraway seeds, catnip, rose, and rosemary, over the pair of poppets. As you sprinkle each herb, again recite the Love Tie magick prayer, which is found below. Place the lid or cover on the box, and again recite the magick prayer.

Position the box so it rests in the light of the burning red candle, and let the candle burn to completion.

Maintaining the Charm:

When the red offering candle burns to completion, your Love Tie charm is complete and charged with your intent of attracting and keeping another person's love. Place the closed box in an intimate area of your bedroom, like under the bed or in your underwear drawer - someplace private where only the couple would have regular access. Optionally, you may wrap and decorate the box / container as you wish, in order to represent the importance and value that you place over it.

Disposing of the Charm:

This charm should be kept for as long as you want to attract your target's love. It may be disassembled when you no longer require the charm's energy - either when the relationship is strong enough to support itself, or when you want to move on from the relationship.
