Neighbor-B-Gone Santa Muerte Magick

Primary Use:

A hex to be rid of mean, nasty, inconsiderate, and generally ugly acting neighbors.
***Someone reached out to me online and described some trouble they were having with their neighbors. This is the hex I came up with.

You Will Need:

Herbs:
  • Licorice Root - to change the thoughts of another person, to push another person's mind in the direction you choose, to make your target more receptive to your ideas, to keep something on someone's mind. Here, we want our target nasty neighbors to think about what they've done, we want their minds open to our intent which is that they act nice or get lost.
  • Cayenne - used for adding heat and fire to your Santa Muerte magick. In this hex, cayenne will make emotions in the target home run hot, and the family will begin to experience the ugliness they normally send into the world in their own home, amongst one another.
  • Wormwood - for causing an eviction, throwing out, or firing. CAUTION - known to be poisonous, avoid skin contact and store in a secure place.

Other Items:

  • Negativity Activators - two or three things associated with negativity or known for being yucky, like cigarette butts, broken glass, piss, rusty nails, graveyard dirt, etc. These amplify the negative aspects of all other ingredients and help further pile on the discomfort and discord in the life of your target. When you add these negativity activators to your magick, it's the spiritual equivalent of flicking cigarette butts in someone's face or peeing on their property - it's a sign of great disrespect to ensure there is no misunderstanding about the intent you're putting into the magickal work. LESS IS MORE, just a few drops or pinches will do.
  • 1 Piece of Paper - to hold the name and address of your target neighbors. A picture  and / or personal items like hair or nail clippings would be great, but these would probably be impossible to get without trespassing, so don't bother.
  • 1 Black Ink Pen - for the paper.
  • 1 Empty Jar - this will hold the dry herbs, negativity activators, and piece of paper.
  • 1 Black Candle - to appeal to the energy of the Black Cloaked Santa Muerte of Curses, Hexes, and Black Magick.

Crafting Your Hex

At your Santa Muerte altar, write the name and address of your target neighbors on a piece of paper. Light your black candle and set it over the paper. Recite the Neighbor-B-Gone Santa Muerte magick prayer, found below, three times over the paper. To help solidify the connection between the paper and your neighbors, and to further show your intent of wanting the negativity from your hex to weigh on your target neighbors, leave the candle over the paper to burn for about 30 minutes.

At the end of 30 minutes, retrieve the paper from under the candle and place in your empty jar. Next, add approximately equal parts of your dry herbal ingredients to the jar, followed by your negativity activators, and remember that less is more - all you need is a few pinches or drops of each in order to make a hex like this effective. While you add the ingredients to the jar, envision the negativity from your hex being focused on your mean and nasty neighbors. See them getting what they deserve, see them experiencing what they have made you experience, and see them packing their bags. As you prepare this jar, recite the below Neighbors-B-Gone Santa Muerte magick prayer.

When all the ingredients are in the jar, leave the jar on the altar in the light of the black candle's flame. Again recite the below magick prayer three times over the jar, then let the black candle burn all the way to completion. When it has burned completely, the working is complete, the curse has been sent, and you can dispose of the pieces.

Disposing of Your Hex Materials

You may dispose of what remains from this petition using the instructions outlined in my post How to Dispose of Magick Trash.

"Neighbor-B-Gone" Santa Muerte Magick Prayer

Santa Muerte, my Holy Death,
deliver for me this hex,
against the ones that I have chose,
against my neighbors and their home.

Show them how ugly they have been,
let them taste their own medicine.
May you make them change their ways,
or push them out, send them away.

In your Holy name, amen.

Hello,
I suffer from a horrible eating disorder that stems from emotional trauma. I already have a working altar for her. And I suffer so much from this. I try and stop. But I can't. Can you please refer me to a ritual or tell me what I can do. THANK YOU💜

Hello - magickally speaking, I would appeal to the yellow cloaked Santa Muerte. She is the aspect of Santa Muerte associated with health and healing. I recommend that you make her your patron, so to speak. Make offerings to her, pray to her for strength, keep her image close by, etc. As always, help the Santa Muerte help you - rather than asking her to do all the heavy lifting, perhaps ask the Santa Muerte to help you find a support group, or to give you strength day by day. Also, please check out this link for Eating Disorders Anonymous - they have information for physical meetings, online meetings, and phone meetings: http://www.eatingdisordersanonymous.org/meetings.html. I'll try to come up with a ritual for ending negative habits, but please check out the link and look into support groups in the meantime.

Would you consider it a good idea to offer Santa muerte a few drops of your own blood in a petition for a favor from her?

Offerings are deeply personal, but with Santa Muerte, it's the thought that counts. What do you feel about blood letting? If someone let their own blood in your honor, would it creep you out or would you appreciate the sign of devotion? Extend this to your Santa Muerte offerings and you'll be just fine. On a practical level, letting blood is not safe because breaking the skin increases the risk of infection - I would advise against it, but how you choose to practice your own spirituality with your own body is none of my business.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for both all of your work on this website, and for publishing this Neighbor-B-Gone working. I have terrible, awful neighbors that have been harassing me for the past two years - I could go into the hell of it all but that would make this comment far too long!

I performed this working along with a heartfelt prayer to Santisima, and two days ago I came home from work to see a FOR SALE sign in front of their house!!! No joke and no lie! I am beyond grateful.

Hail the Santisima, full of love and grace!

Hi Jennifer,

I would like to know that what did you do with Mason jar and the ingredients inside it? Like paper written with name and address etc. Did your test that petition off?.
Kindly let me know. It would be great ?!

@Aditi - Just in case Jennifer does not see your message, I will offer my two cents.

I would keep the items together until you are sure that the neighbors are gone. For example, Jennifer said she came home to see a "For Sale" sign. I would probably wait until I saw the old family driving away and the new family moving in until I started to disassemble the charm. In fact, I would probably take the jar and tuck it away somewhere and forget about it; maybe put it on a shelf in my garage, tuck it in the corner of my attic, or maybe even bury it in my garden - just to be sure that the power keeping away the bad neighbors is not interrupted or broken at all.

When the time came that I thought it was safe to break the power of the charm, then I would just open it up and dispose of the pieces responsibly. Anything that can be placed in the trash, can be placed in the trash. Anything that can be placed in recycling, can be recycled.

Should the black candle be a santa muerte candle?

Any black candle will work.
