At the lowest level is depicted the Earth, apparently in orbit in our solar system. Above the scene of the Earth is a row of astrological symbols representing the planets, the moon, and the sun. Above the astrological symbols is another row of symbols, this time featuring the various symbols of the zodiac. Above the symbols of the zodiac is a scene depicting what appears to be a galaxy, like the Milky Way galaxy. Above the representation of a galaxy is a scene depicting an electric energy that appears almost like lightning. Above the electric energy is a row of winged figures, which alternate between the angelic, with feathery wings, and the demonic, with sharp bat-like wings. Above the row of winged figures is a scene depicting various figures from ancient and modern mythologies, including the Virgin Mary, Odin, Huitzilopochtli, Fortuna, and Anubis. Included in this line of mythical figures is the Santa Muerte. At the very top of the card is a spectrum of colors. Symbolism: Mas Alla represents the world of the divine at work in our physical world, and the involvement of our highest spiritual guides in our lives. The Earth depicted at the bottom of the card represents our own world, and the environment in which we must operate everyday. The layers depicting the planetary symbols and the zodiac symbols represent the power of the divine to show us signs of its involvement in our daily lives - these also serve as an indication that the signs are all around us if only we choose to see them. The representation of a galaxy in outer space symbolizes our search for deeper meaning. As an aspect of this card, this search for deeper meaning represents our openness to experience the work of the divine in our lives. Above the galaxy is the representation of electric energy, which itself represents raw power, or the power of the divine above to influence all the layers that exist below it. The representation of the angels and demons in the layer above the electric energy represent the good and the bad that we can experience in life. While we would prefer our lives to be full of good experiences, this card reminds us that both good and bad experiences can come from the divine in order to make us stronger and wiser for the path ahead. The mythical figures that exist at the top of the card represent the divine energy which is at work in our lives. No matter what that divine energy might look like to us, and even though we may be separated from that divine energy by several layers of distance, we can rest assured knowing that it is there and that it is working for us. The spectrum of colors that exist behind the mythical figures represents the positive energy of the divine, and the positive effects that the divine is providing for us. In a Reading Upright: This card represents a sign that the Santa Muerte is taking an active, and positive, role in your life. It should serve as confirmation of other positive signs which you have received. This card represents a period of blessings, growth, and positive spiritual guidance. In a Reading Reversed: Mas Alla represents a warning that signs from the Santa Muerte are being ignored, and that a wrong move is about to be taken, or already has been taken. Perhaps a decision was made that went against a person's intuition, and now that decision feels like it was the wrong one. Take any steps possible to reverse course; and / or prepare for consequences. ------------------------------- Ad: Get your own Tarot de la Santa Muerte at: http://amzn.to/2vNM3eg
