Touch of Beauty Santa Muerte Magick

​Primary Use

To boost one's physical beauty - both the beauty perceived by others, and the beauty perceived by oneself. This is a type of glamour magick, which means changes in your appearance will be a type of temporary illusion that is projected into the minds of those around you.

You Will Need

Herbs:

• ​Catnip - to trigger an attraction. Used here to trigger attractions that validate the beauty you have and the beauty you will gain.
• Ginger - to promote sexuality and personal confidence. Used here to make you feel more beautiful, and therefore appear more beautiful to others.
• Rosemary - to attract love and lust, but also associated with the mind. Used here to make those around you perceive you as more beautiful.

Other Ingredients:

• Medium Bowl with Water - to cast your reflection into. 
• Mortar and Pestle - for grinding and incorporating your herbal ingredients.
• ​1 Pink Offering Candle - to appeal to the Pink Cloaked aspect of Santa Muerte, associated by many Devotees with beauty and love of self.

Preparations

At your Santa Muerte altar, light the pink offering candle so you can work in its light. Next, use your mortar and pestle to grind and incorporate together approximately equal parts of the three herbal ingredients - the catnip, ginger, and rosemary.

As you grind and incorporate the herbal ingredients, recite and meditate on the Touch of Beauty Santa Muerte magick prayer, found below. Praying over the herbs while you grind and incorporate them into a mixture will help you focus the energy of the potion toward your desired intent of appearing and feeling more beautiful. As you pray over the herbs, try to visualize the changes you want to manifest. If you want your lips to appear more full, or your hips to appear more curvy, then visualize yourself with those changes manifested. Be careful of breathing in the dust of the herbs as you grind, as it may cause irritation. 

Cast Your Reflection

When the three herbal ingredients have been incorporated into a mixture, look into the bowl of water to cast your reflection into it. Recite the below included magick prayer as you look at your reflection, then slowly begin sprinkling the herbal mixture over the surface of the water, covering as much of your reflection as you can. Place this bowl to rest in the light of the burning pink candle until the candle burns to completion.

Leave the Bowl of Water

When the pink candle burns to completion, leave the bowl of water to rest somewhere where it will not be disturbed. The power of this beauty and glamour charm will last as long as the water remains in the bowl. As the water in the bowl evaporates naturally, so will the power and potency of the charm.

Disposing of Your Supplies

When most of the water in the bowl has evaporated, you can consider the power of the charm exhausted, and you can dispose of whatever remains of the charm according to my instructions in the post, "How to Dispose of Magick Trash"
