Primary Use
To encourage a person to stop spreading lies, and to reveal lies which have already been told. You Will Need Herbs:
Other Ingredients:
Preparations At your Santa Muerte altar, light the green offering candle so you may work in its light. Place the personal information of your target into the glass jar. Sprinkle a few pinches of the agrimony herb into the jar, over the personal information of the target, followed by a few pieces of slippery elm bark. As you place each herb over the personal information of the target in the jar, recite the Truth Be Told magick prayer, which is included below. Next, pour water into the jar until it is full, then cover the jar with the lid. After you cover the jar with the lid, again recite the below included Truth Be Told magick prayer. Leave the covered jar at or near your altar in the light of the green candle's flame until the candle burns to completion. Break the Jar When the candle burns to completion, take the jar and wrap it in the thick green cloth. Tie the cloth around the jar to create a secure pouch. If you like, you may sew the cloth shut to make it more secure because you will not need to unwrap the bundle you have created. Next, take the jar outside to a place where you can break glass. Using the hammer (with hand and eye protection in place), hit the wrapped jar until you hear and feel the jar break. You will know the jar is broken when the water spills out through the cloth. As you perform these steps - wrapping the jar, carrying the jar outside, and hitting the jar with the hammer - continue to recite the Truth Be Told magick prayer. Secure the Jar When the jar has broken, allow all the water contained within to spill naturally through the cloth pouch. When the water has stopped dripping from the pouch, place this green pouch somewhere safe where it can dry without being disturbed. Breaking the fragile glass to allow the water to spill represents the destruction of your target's fragile lies so that truth may spill free. Letting the water dry and evaporate from the charm represents letting the truth rise and escape from the clutches of your lying target. Discarding the Charm When your target's lies have been revealed, or when they appear to have suffered the consequences of their lies, then you can discard the charm as you would any other piece of broken glass. It is not recommended that you deconstruct this charm when you are ready to discard it - you are free to safely toss away the entire bundle of wrapped broken glass. First, I do not want you cutting yourself on a piece of broken glass. Second, deconstructing a charm conveys the intent that you no longer require its energy - or in other words, that you think the suspected liar should go back to telling lies. Personally, I see nothing wrong with encouraging liars to stay as honest as possible for as long as possible. After you discard the charm, however, its energy will fade naturally over time as you think about it less and less. Truth Be Told Santa Muerte Magick Prayer Santa Muerte, Holy Death, lying tongues be put to rest. All the lies my target's made, let them all now crack and break. From the lies let truth now pour, lies hold water, now no more.
